The Alpkogel Trail forms the heart of the trail park, offering a smooth and beginner-friendly route over its 6.7-kilometre course. The trail starts at the Alpkogelbahn mountain station at 1,970 metres above sea level and winds its way down through almost 100 switchbacks in an open alpine setting. Initially, it leads through low vegetation and alpine meadows before transitioning into the lush valley pastures. Riders will pass the Fluchthorn Alm and the Weiberhimml, two scenic landmarks along the route. Thanks to its gentle gradient and well-designed layout, this trail is ideal for families and beginners.
